				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Working with G2 Energy, LLC and <a href="http://www.lfgtech.com/" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">LFG Technologies, Inc.</span></a>, Curington Construction, LLC will be overseeing the addition of a Caterpillar 3520 reciprocating Genset to an already existing 1.6 MW LFGTE facility.  The scope of work includes enlarging the existing pre-engineered metal building and expanding the entire existing infrastructure.  This LFGTE facility is located at the Ostrom Road Landfill in Wheatland, California.  This project will be starting soon and is expected to take approximately four months to complete.  Curington Construction, LLC looks forward to working with LFG Technologies, Inc. and G2 Energy, LLC again.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Curington Construction, LLC has completed construction of a 1.6 megawatt containerized generator facility for <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><a href="http://www.wm.com/sustainability/renewable-energy.jsp" target="_blank">Waste Management Renewable Energy</a></span> in Houston, Mississippi at the Prairie Bluff Landfill in October, 2012.  This was the first time <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><a href="http://www.wm.com" target="_blank">Waste Management</a></span> has hired a General Contractor to construct one of their LFGTE facilities.  Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant was quoted saying “When I talk to companies in South America, China and from our country, I point to two things, I tell them about the work ethic of Mississippians and I tell them about cutting-edge energy solutions like we have here at Prairie Bluff.”</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.wm.com/sustainability/renewable-energy.jsp" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Waste Management Renewable Energy</span></a> has once again contracted with Curington Construction, LLC to construct another single containerized engine facility, which will be installed at the Tullytown Landfill in Tullytown, Pennsylvania.  Tullytown is home to Pennsylvania’s busiest landfill, receiving approximately 650 trucks dumping garbage daily.  These trucks come from Bucks County, Philadelphia, New Jersey and even New York City.  This 1.6 megawatt 3520 CAT containerized generator facility is scheduled to be completed in February, 2013 and it will truly be a benefit to the surrounding area’s electric needs while also having a positive effect by reducing the methane gas let off into the environment.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.wm.com/index.jsp" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Waste Management</span></a> recently hired Curington Construction, LLC to construct a liquid receiving facility for Leachate at their Okeechobee Landfill, which was completed in July, 2012. This facility is designed to receive a large volume of leachate, which is trucked in from off-site to be disposed of at the Okeechobee Leachate Disposal Facility.  This is the second project Curington has constructed at the Okeechobee Landfill and we look forward to assisting in any future projects that may arise.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>David Curington of Curington Construction, LLC was hired as Project Manager by <a href="http://www.energyneeringsolutions.com/" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Energyneering Solutions, Inc.</span></a> to oversee the construction and start-up of the Miramar Landfill LFGTE facility expansion. <a href="http://www.fortistar.com/" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Fortistar Methane Group</span></a> operates the LFGTE facility at the Maramar Landfill and this expansion to the existing well field will power an additional two Caterpillar 3520 engines. This LFGTE facility will send the power directly to the <a href="http://www.miramar.usmc.mil/index.html" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Marine Corps Air Station Miramar</span></a> (MCAS Miramar) and generates approximately 50% of the power used by the base.</p>

<p><span class="custom-frame alignleft frame-shadow"><a href="http://nems360.com/view/full_story/15006649/article-Three-Rivers-landfill-to-help-generate-electricity?instance=special_coverage_bullets_right_column#ixzz1XILIKKCs"><img class="size-medium wp-image-648 " title="Ground Breaking" src="http://www.curington.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/2011-08-09-15.24.02-cropped-218x300.jpg" alt="" width="218" height="300" /></a></span> Curington Construction, LLC is proud to announce the commencement of the new LFGTE project for Three Rivers Regional Landfill in Pontotoc, Mississippi.  After a successful ground breaking, no time was wasted as the project for <a href="http://www.trswa.org/" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Three Rivers Solid Waste Management Authority</span></a> began.  Working closely with <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><a href="http://www.mid-southconsulting.com/index.html" target="_blank">Mid-South Consulting, Inc</a>.</span>, Curington Construction, LLC expects start up of this state-of-the-art facility to be mid-January, 2012.</p>
<p>The facility will use methane gas emitted from the landfill to run a generator producing electricity. That electricity – up to 1 megawatt, enough to power 1,000 homes – will be sold at a premium to the Tennessee Valley Authority.</p>
