Do the owners of Curington Construction work in the business?

Yes, they are there full time overseeing the current operations of CCL and involved in the planning of future projects with our clients.

Is Curington Construction Licensed & Insured?

CCL is licensed under and Class A State Certified license, and provides “Builder Risk Insurance” during construction, which covers the project. Also, all of our subcontractors are licensed and insured.

How long has Curington been building in Florida?

CCL has nearly four decades of experience building quality facilities in Florida since 1972.

Who will guide us through the building process of our new facility?

A CCL consultant will walk you through the contract process. CCL’s design team will help you coordinate the features of your new project as your plans are being drawn. Then, during the actual building process CCL will assign a superintendent to oversee the construction of your facility and help you with any questions or needs that may arise.

Can Curington Construction help us find a building lot or development to build our new project on?

Yes, CCL builds in many different locations. In addition to this our sales consultants are also licensed real estate agents and are very knowledgeable about Marion County and Central Florida land, developments and lots.

Do we need to hire an architect or engineer to design and draw our building?

In addition to being prepared to build your new facility from designs you bring to us, CCL has an in-house drafting team ready to draw your project and have it reviewed by a licensed and certified engineer.

What if we don’t have a floor plan but have special requirements? Can Curington Construction help design our ideal facility from start to finish?

Yes, Curington Construction has a staff of experienced designers/draftsmen who have designed countless custom buildings over the years. Curington clients also have the benefit of having their own personal construction consultants who are happy to assist with your requests.

If we have our own custom plan, can Curington Construction give us a price to build it?

Yes, CCL’s estimating department has many years of experience in estimating the cost of commercial projects.

Will we have a professional help when it comes to choosing items such as cabinets, lighting, tile, paint colors, and carpet?

Yes, CCL has very talented color coordinators who will assist you in going over the floor plan room by room, helping you to put together a facility that will reflect your desired professional presentation and needs.

What if we need to make a change or want to upgrade something in our project after the contract has been signed?

CCL is happy to provide a Change Order when requested by our valued customers. There may be costs associated with your Change Order depending on what your request entails and what stage your new facility is at in the building process.

Do we see the plans before CCL starts building our project?

Yes, you will meet with a CCL customer service representative, the draftsperson who drew your plans, and your sales consultant for a customer plan review.

Who acquires the various permits for our new building and keeps track of government requirements needed during the building process?

CCL is very experienced at walking through the permitting process, and we stay in constant communication with the appropriate government departments concerning codes and building requirements. CCL will also keep you informed of any changes that need to be made based upon government codes and requirements.

Is Curington Construction current on all the new Hurricane codes?

Yes, and in addition to this we at CCL go above and beyond hurricane codes in many aspects of our construction. (Please speak with a sales consultant for details.)

Will someone meet us at our property, to evaluate it, before construction?

Yes, a CCL representative will meet you at your job site to discuss laying out the building and answer any questions.

What kind of warranty can we expect with a Curington Construction facility?

CCL stands behind our work with a 10-year structural warranty and a dedicated in-house warranty department ready to care for your new facility for the first year after completion.

Can we see the construction office?

Yes, a sales consultant will be happy to give you a tour. We have many employees that you will normally never see, but their jobs are just as important as the ones that you will meet. CCL has a great team and we look forward to turning your dreams into reality.
